At the time of booking, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your date and is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. The remaining balance is due 5 days prior to the pickup date. Although payment reminders will be sent, it is up to the client to send final payment(s) prior to the contracted date. If final payment is not received as scheduled, I may not be able to fulfill the order and will retain the 50% deposit.

Changes to your order such as size, color, flavor, filling, design, ect. will be accepted until 5 days before the scheduled pickup date and may affect the original price quote. After this period, I may not be able to accommodate any modifications. Cancellations prior to 5 days of the pickup date will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable 50% deposit, cancellations after this period are not eligible for a refund.

For order pickup, we will coordinate in advance to establish a mutually convenient time. Please arrive on time to collect your cake and communicate any anticipated delays. There is a 30-minute window for pickup; if this window is exceeded, I cannot guarantee availability and may need to reschedule your pickup time.

I will take all necessary precautions to stabilize the cake for transportation. However, once the cake leaves the pickup location, the client assumes responsibility for any damages. Therefore, I highly recommend delivery for any cake larger than 2 tiers.

Delivery is available based on scheduling and is subject to a delivery fee. Once the cake is set up, the client is responsible for any damages incurred, including but not limited to melting from direct sunlight or excessive heat, bumps, scrapes, or mishandling.

The cake is delicate and will become your responsibility once it’s picked up or delivered.
Keep the cake flat at all times during transport. The safest place in the car is on the floorboard, ensuring nothing is placed on the seat above it that could roll off and cause damage. Alternatively, you can place it in a flat trunk. Be sure to turn on the AC to keep the cake cool throughout the journey.
Do not leave the cake unattended in the car at any time. Drive carefully to avoid bumps, potholes, sharp turns and sudden stops.
Keep refrigerated until approximately 60-90 minutes before serving. If you plan to display or serve the cake outside, keep it out of direct sunlight. It is not advisable to display a cake outdoors for more than 30 minutes if the temperature exceeds 75°F.

Please note that while every precaution is taken to minimize cross-contamination, I cannot guarantee that the kitchen is completely free of allergens including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans and sesame. It is the responsibility of the client to disclose any known allergens during the ordering process.
